New format of Challenge Day 2018: know it and take part

The competition that gathers countries all over the world brings innovations.  Cities will challenge each other during three consecutive years.

The 24th edition of Challenge Day is around the corner! On May 30, 2018, cities from twenty countries will take part of this competition to incentive the practice of sports and physical activity.

Promoted worldwide by TAFISA – The Association For International Sports for All – and coordinated in American Continent by Sesc – Serviço Social do Comércio, Administração Regional do Estado de São Paulo –Challenge Day has the support of public and private institutions and the citizens.

The competition takes place between cities or in the modality self-challenge. However, starting in 2018, Challenge Day innovates: cities of the same category will compete each other for three editions – 2018 to 2020. The new format will promote more integration among competitors and will enhance the challenge with exchange of experiences.

Challenge Day also proposes the competition in partnership with another city. The mode City + City will count the total of both populations and the total percentage of mobilization reached by both cities. Cities will compete but will also be partners. The exchange of experiences will be a great tool to reach better results for both, in the following years.

With these new procedures, Challenge Day refreshes the energies to keep motivating people for the importance of an active living and healthy habits.

To have more information about the campaign follow the information in this site and at the Challenge Day page at Facebook.
